There are
two ways to purchase products from this
website.
All of the DSDigitals galleries
have a built in order function with
shopping cart. These orders will be
fulfilled by me in my photo lab.
Payments are processed through PayPal, a
respected world wide financial
processing system. You pay them and they
pay me immediately. The
photographs you order are individually
optimized in Photoshop for the best
possible quality and printed in house
for delivery to you within 3 - 5
business days.
NEW!
I have recently set up an
affiliation with the
Shutterbug photo lab where
they take care of all the ordering,
processing, printing and shipping. Using
this service frees me up to do what I do
best; take
photographs!
The process of setting up the
DSDigitals galleries on this website is
time consuming; so, for all future
"trail pictures" and "sporting events"
and any other event photography, I will
use this new expanded service. I can get
the pictures uploaded in a matter of
hours rather than setting up a full
animated gallery which takes a day or
more. The Shutterbug system also
offers many more options for printing at
reasonable costs. I will fine tune this
new option as new events are added.
All new
Shutterbug Galleries will allow the
copy feature. In other words, you can
right click on a picture and copy it to
your computer at no cost. These low
resolution pictures will include the
DSDigitals text.
You will also find a download
option available from the Shutterbug
storefront. These downloads supply
a much better quality picture file
suitable for larger prints on your own
computer/printer. The DSDigitals text is
cleared from these files. The nominal
cost of the download is necessary to
cover my costs of maintaining the
Shutterbug website.

A word about costs:
The costs associated with purchases from the
Shutterbug Storefront are set to cover
some of my direct and indirect costs to bring this
service to you.
To provide this website and the associated pictures:
1) I rent space on a super computer connected to the
internet.
2) I pay Shutterbug for providing the storefront
service
3) The cost of one camera with professional quality
lens and flash can easily exceed $5,000
I often cary 2.
4) The software to optimize the pictures and create
web pages carries an entry cost of around $2,000
With regular upgrades adding $200 - $300 per year.
5) Computer and printing hardware capable of
running the photo processing software costs
about $4,000
These are just some of the costs involved with
bringing you these pictures.
